Pastor Kerry Bortz is the founding Pastor of Open Bible Baptist Church.  He is dedicated to the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.  Hisdesire is to preach messages that are purposeful and practical, messages that share the saving grace of Jesus Christ and messages that provide a greater understanding of God's Word so that Christians would know how to live a victorious, joyful Christian life. Pastor Bortz gladly offers his help and encouragement to all who are in need of prayer, counsel, or spiritual guidance.

Pastor Kerry is a native of Reading, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary, Lansdale, PA, in 1988 with a Master of Divinity degree. Prior to his call to the ministry, Pastor Bortz worked in the computer industry following his graduation from Penn State University. Pastor Bortz and his wife, Barbara, have raised two
